At Fair Winds Coffee Traders (FWCT), we take pride in shipping fresh roasted coffee beans and ground coffee quickly and carefully to ensure they arrive in the best possible condition. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle shipping, delivery, and related costs.

Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to addresses within the continental United States. We do not ship to Alaska,
Hawaii, U.S. territories, or internationally at this time.
If you need shipping to a restricted location, please contact us before placing an order.

Processing Time
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1-3 business days after payment is received.

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays may take an extra business day to process.

  • During peak periods (such as holidays), processing times may be slightly longer. We will notify you if there is a significant delay.

Shipping Methods and Costs
We offer the following shipping options at checkout:

  • Standard Shipping (usually 3-7 business days once shipped)

  • Expedited Shipping (usually 2-4 business days once shipped) – additional cost

 

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Order weight and size

  • Shipping destination

  • Chosen shipping method

Exact shipping rates are displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. Shipping
fees are non-refundable,
even if you receive a refund for quality issues under our Returns and
Refunds Policy.

 

Delivery Estimates
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery depends on the carrier
(USPS, UPS, or FedEx) and factors outside our control, such as weather, carrier delays, or
customs issues (if applicable).
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or events beyond our reasonable control.

Packaging for Freshness
Because coffee is a perishable product, we use high-quality, airtight packaging designed to
preserve freshness and aroma.

 

We recommend:

  • Opening the bag soon after arrival and transferring beans to an airtight container with one-way valve if not using immediately.

  • Storing in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, heat, or moisture for best results.

Order Tracking
Once your order ships, we will send you a confirmation email/text with tracking information.
You can track your package directly through the carrier’s website using the provided tracking
number.

Damaged or Missing Packages
Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged or with missing items, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the damage or issue. We will work with you to resolve the situation (possible replacement, refund, or reshipment) on a case-by-case basis, in line with our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Risk of Loss
All risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you once the package is handed over to the shipping carrier.
